Met with President Trump.

The publisher said the President

Takes truth out to the dump.

The President labels truth, “fake news,”

The press the “enemy.”

The President tweets this every day.

How long can it stay free?

Reporters often ask questions that

Donald Trump does not like.

The President says they should be banned.

Tough questions?  Take a hike.

The press is exposing Donald’s lies,

So Trump calls their news “fake.”

But someone must keep the truth alive

And tell us all, “awake!”

Autocracy or free press?  Again,

Free press just has to win.
