It’s time we ponder: is Donald demented?
For when he is speaking, he sounds so confused.
Are there some demons with which he’s tormented?
Or has he by genome and time been abused?

We know that Trump’s father died with Alzheimer’s,
So, Donald may have the disease in his genes.
And he is fading, like lots of old-timers.
So, should we consider now what this all means?

Donald’s thought processes disintegrating:
The cause might be vascular or might be genes.
Are neuronal tangles accumulating?
We know, as we’re aging, all this intervenes.

Does Donald’s brain have some shorts in its wiring?
And why do Republicans seem not to care?
And we’ve all noticed McConnell misfiring.
Could government tolerate both of them there?

Donald is running for only one reason:
Such narcissists simply can’t tolerate loss.
Opposing Donald, to his mind, is treason,
Which he says he’ll punish when he becomes boss.

If Trump’s demented, why doesn’t that scare us?
When Kamala’s speaking, she’s clear as a bell.
Isn’t it wiser to cast votes for Harris
And finally bid the Trump era farewell?
