We know some Trumpists are deranged and some are violent,
And willingly support a candidate who’s fraudulent.
The insurrection on1-6 was by a Trumpist mob.
They did it for their leader then. Can Trump complete the job?

So, Donald Trump is well aware of who he’s talking to.
He knows who listens and what he can get such folks to do.
If someone takes a shot at Liz, it will be no surprise.
And, it will be Trump’s fault, a fact that Donald can’t disguise.

Since Trump has threatened violence, we’ve seen death threats increase.
They’re mostly aimed at Democrats, according to police.
Trump’s shooter was Republican, a man just seeking fame.
And that gives Trump a problem when he’s seeking whom to blame.

Professors tell us this is always how dictators start.
They fool and scare the common folks; the tactic is an art.
Trump’s motives are transparent; we have seen his kind before.
And “everybody knows that,” so, will voters slam the door?
