His Air Force One, for Donald’s taste, isn’t stunning enough.
The airplanes of the oil-state kings strike Donald as hot stuff.
Trump’s plane should be much bigger so, when it comes into view,
The ladies swoon and men all kneel, obeisance shown on cue.
The Qatar Emir, bless his heart, has sensed Trump’s psychic pain.
The Democrats and ethicists think motivation’s plain.
The Emir wants Trump in his thrall; for Trump it’s simple greed.
The Constitution says, “No, no,” but Donald doesn’t read. (1)
Pam Bondi signed a memo that the plane’s a kosher pig. (2)
“Why ask a Rabbi?” Donald says, “This plane is really big.”
They need more ways to launder it and they’ll all be explored.
The plane strikes Donald as just right; big money is his Lord.
Trump wants to be the Emir or be like the Saudi King,
Like Vladimir in Moscow, or like Xi out in Beijing.
He’ll decorate the White House, using up the Fort Knox gold.
And yell at courts who interfere; his greed can’t be controlled.
So, Donald says, “I want the plane, for after all, it’s free.”
He does not care if it is bugged, “It’s a free gift for me.”
The Constitution, laws, and ethics rub Trump the wrong way.
Since Donald thinks he runs the world, why can’t he have his way? (3)
And now we read in Forbes that Qatar had a jet to dump. (4)
Then someone said, “May I suggest we give the plane to Trump?”
“It costs too much to operate and upkeep is a bitch,”
“And we know he will take it; Donald Trump likes looking rich.” (5)
Emoluments, emoluments, thy name is Donald Trump.
The Constitution, for the Don, is just a small speed bump.
When Donald leaves the office this plane will belong to him.
To buy good will from Donald, fill his ego to the brim.
