Trump has federalized the National Guard
For LA demonstrations opposing ICE.
Will Donald Trump hoist ICE on its own petard?
Now when ICE invades, protests have raised the price.

For Trump, this is theater, made for TV,
So he may impress us with government might.
He’s called out his federal force vis a vis
Protesters, (that’s their Constitutional right.)

The ICE raids that Donald Trump puts on for show,
Are also creating more social unrest.
The president wants everybody to know
He’ll call out the army when put to the test.

He told us at first, he’d get criminals out,
Targeting those who are illegally here.
But what we have seen seems to be more about
Supporting the power of ICE to cause fear.

The Governor, Mayor, are both Democrats.
Gavin Newsom’s a rival, Karen Bass, black.
So, in Donald’s mind, that makes both of them rats.
These protests provide his excuse to attack.

Now, Donald is waging a multi-front war.
Against migrant workers, against Elon Musk.
He’s getting publicity, TV galore,
And everyone smells Donald’s genital musk.

Trump also makes war today on academe,
Scientific research, and liberal thought.
Does Trump hate every intellectual theme,
That’s founded on data which cannot be bought?

Trump’s flexing his muscles and hogging the show.
Calling Newsom, “Newscum,” though childish and lame.
Whatever the outcome, Trump wants us to know
How much he enjoys escalating the game.
