The thought that he will lead us soon, makes liberals feel ill.
His sentences did not connect; thoughts rambled here and there.
To think that he’ll be President should give us all a scare.

His drifting, rambling speech suggests his brain’s not working well.
So, for whatever reason, Donald’s thoughts just don’t quite gel.
His “facts” and data cited might be made up on the spot;
Or, had such “facts” occurred to him while sitting on the pot?

Now Donald has reported that he’s going to start some fights,
With Greenland, Panama, and Canada all in his sights.
Their rights to self-determination are no guarantee,
That Donald Trump will now respect each nation’s sovereignty.

Our national defense “requires” Greenland and Panama.
And Canada should be a state, regardless of the law.
Trump claims that Chinese soldiers run the Panama Canal:
As usual, flawed data and mistaken rationale.

Does Donald want more territory than Vlad Putin runs?
And will he leave administration to both of his sons?
Does Trump resent that Jimmy Carter now is center stage?
Did Carter’s death make Trump decide to fight for the front page?

And NATO still draws Donald’s ire. They fear that he’ll pull out.
Once more invoking pay to play, Trump punched them on the snout.
To seize the spotlight, Donald Trump has launched a bold attack.
With scrambled thoughts, mistakes, and lies, Trump shouts that he is back.
