Donald at the Bat – Day 1005, What A Frined We Had in Donald (parody to ‘What a Friend We Have in Jesus’)

Day 1005, What a Friend We Had in Donald (1)

What a friend we had in Donald;

We thought he’d be fair and square.

We were allies against ISIS,

Now he’s dumped us, ce’st la guerre.

Kurdish soldiers laid their lives down;

Now this selfish billionaire

Said to Turkey, “We won’t stop you;

“Kick the Kurdish derriere.”

We have trials, tribulations,

Shells exploding everywhere.

We are dying and discouraged;

Now all we have left is prayer.

We thought Donald would be faithful

But he doesn’t seem to care.

Erdogan knows every landmark;

We’ve no shelter anywhere.

Refugees are heavy laden;

Bombs and bullets fill the air.

US troops were once a buffer;

Donald pulled them out of there.

How could allies be so callous?

How is this considered fair?

His own Congress has condemned him;

If you trust Trump, best beware.
