Greenlanders are fearful of Trump subterfuge.

Trump also wants us to take back the Canal
We ceded to Panama, decades ago.
They charge ships too much; that is his rationale.
If he takes it back, then we’ll save lots of dough.

We know how much Donald Trump hates paying bills.
He’s known to stiff creditors, both left and right.
He welches on contracts, gives creditors chills,
And seems to enjoy a long, drawn-out court fight.

But Trump’s greatest outrage: our neighbor up north.
Trump taunts Canada as our “fifty-first state.”
Is this because Vladimir has sallied forth
Attacking Ukraine, hoping to subjugate?

If Putin steals Ukraine, Trump thinks, “Why not me?”
“I’ll just annex Canada and take their oil.
“And why should we care if Taiwan goes to Xi?
“We’ll all be dictators, regarded as royal.”

Does Donald Trump think he can build an empire,
That stretches from Greenland to Aleutian isles?
Though Trump doesn’t seem to care whom he may rile,
While stoking the fires down in Hell, Satan smiles.
