December 25, Donald’s Emerging Dementia

Does Trump seem crazier each day, with what he says he’ll do? (1)
His cabinet nominations seem to say to all: “Screw you.”
There’ll be mass deportations but have these been well thought out?
From round-up, holding, destinations: there is room to doubt.

The first convicted felon with dementia scrambled speech,
The Donald is the kind of guy who’s sure to overreach.
Yet Trump won the election, this time even got more votes.
Which magnified his craziness; now he really feels his oats.

Will Kash Patel start prosecuting all who criticize? (2)
Will RFK block vaccine funds, though medically unwise? (3)
Will there be a new pandemic, this time, H5N1?
Will we still have democracy when Donald’s term is done?

Trump is a liar and a crook. What made us vote for him?
Though lacking Christian qualities, Trump won support from them.
No qualities one should admire, all bluster mixed with fraud,
What was it that made us elect a man so deeply flawed?

Trump rails against all immigrants, who flee their troubled land,
And thereby, flames of bigotry against non-whites are fanned.
With economic numbers strong and unemployment low,
Trump claims that they are terrible and only ill winds blow. (4)

And though transgendered people are a small minority,
Trump says that they have been a plague on our society.
He says our kids come home from schools, with genders having changed. (5)
That’s just one more example of how badly he’s deranged.

Inflation followed COVID, in world-wide economies.
So, prices rose for everything, including groceries.
Though most of Donald’s claims were false, the price of eggs was real.
Inflation took a central place in Donald’s campaign spiel.

H5N1, the bird flu made the price of eggs increase,
Which, blustering as usual, Trump claimed he could decrease.
And then, he won because inflation gave his campaign legs.
How could this happen? Was it all about the price of eggs?
