In meadows, we hear birdies’ warbles;
In Washington, Donald Trump garbles.
One makes spirits rise;
One signals demise,
For Donald Trump’s losing his marbles.

Our nation’s once great reputation
Is trashed by this sad situation.
For Trump fabricates
And Trump obfuscates
And exhibits bizarre ideation.

As Donald Trump keeps up his trumping,
The whole world can see that he’s slumping.
His speech is bizarre;
He thinks he’s the czar.
His ego requires constant pumping.

Now, Trump’s on an orgy of naming,
(Like Kennedy Center defaming.)
Golf courses, airport,
Who knows? Supreme Court?
There’s nothing that he isn’t claiming.

Each day we must deal with his ranting;
Requiring complete sycophanting.
He’s made a huge mess
Attacking the press.
To most, he’s no longer enchanting.

So, Putin and Xi, glasses clinking,
See, day by day, our power shrinking.
America’s might,
Now fades out of sight,
For Trump has the Ship of State sinking.
