Invertebrate Congressmen, lacking gonads,
House Speaker, Mike Johnson, we’re looking at you, (1)
You cannot anticipate Sir Galahads (2)
To ride up and rein in what Donald may do.

When will we see congressmen doing their jobs,
Like new bills, and budgets, doing oversight?
Are right wingers fearing new Trump inspired mobs,
Sacking the Capitol, to put them to flight?

Since Trump’s not the type of guy anyone likes,
Including his relatives and sycophants,
Do Congressmen fear he’ll put their heads on pikes
If they don’t bow to his lies and flaming pants?

Trump’s tariffs warn the whole world to be wary
Of the trade wars imposed by Trump’s clumsy hand.
The turmoil he’s caused is not necessary,
But all Donald cares about is his own brand.

Now Trump’s on a rampage to trample our laws,
To sit on a throne and from there to dictate,
Ignoring our laws, every statute and clause,
So, after he’s spoken, there’ll be no debate.

Attack universities, cripple research,
Demand they stop fostering diversity,
Find any excuse that you can to besmirch
All those who don’t think that Trump’s their deity.

Since Donald cannot be charged with a crime,
(That’s thanks to the wisdom of our Supreme Court,)
He’ll go on to break our laws time after time,
For Donald Trump, breaking our laws is a sport.

Impeachment’s the remedy, our only one.
But Johnson has neither the gonads nor spine.
Let’s hope when the ‘26 voting is done,
The Democrats win and new light starts to shine.
