Experts are anathema to Trump, the Don.
They recognize kings without any clothes on.
Since Donald resents those who know more than he.
He surrounds himself with mediocrity.

Trump’s speech is word salad from a fire hose,
Which shows he knows far less than he claims he knows.
His ego needs praise in cacophonous song
But experts keep telling him that he is wrong.

Disorder is growing; soon chaos will reign,
Worldwide pandemonium, and social pain.
The mess gets a bit worse with each passing day,
Or, entropy grows, as the scientists say.

Why then are the super-rich backing this guy?
They know he’s for sale, so their money can buy
The favors they need to enrich themselves more.
They prosper with leaders corrupt to the core.

In Renaissance Florence, ruled by Medici,
They left behind beauty as their legacy. (1)
Enriched themselves, yes, but the arts flourished then.
Now, evermore wealth is what motivates men.

So, what do we do in this sick comedy?
Is there a way out? Is there a remedy?
A peaceful solution to autocracy?
