Zelensky heard the Donald’s word,
As we moved from friend to foe.
Over the ocean to the Ukraine,
“First, I need a favor, though,
“As Vlad invades with tank brigades,
“You’ll have to go after Joe.”
Over the ocean to the Ukraine,
The arms shipments will not flow.
“You must harass Joe Biden’s ass,
“But that’s not a quid pro quo.”
Here in our country, about Ukraine,
As calls for impeachment grow,
“Though Schiff may howl, there was no foul,
“I let all the money go.”
Here in our country, with great disdain
For all of the laws we know,
Trump is a putz, no ifs or buts,
Disgust with him has to grow.
So, in the Congress, a howl of pain,
Republicans have to know,
Trump is a crook; it’s clear, just look.
It is time for him to go.
