December 6, Kakistocratic Plutocrats

A kakistocracy means that we are governed by the worst.
That is what Trump’s proposing now, and in that, he’s well-versed.
It’s loyalty he values most; no other skills will count.
So, say, “Goodbye,” to competence; that’s never paramount.

He’ll name a lot of plutocrats, which means that they are rich.
But selfish billionaires might leave our country in the ditch.
Since Donald’s filed for bankruptcy some six times in the past,
There is no reason to believe his team won’t be half-assed.

Now Trump tapped Elon Musk to cut waste from the government.
But any cut that is proposed will start an argument.
With government that’s by and for the folks that Trump will choose,
It’s likely Donald will give us Kakistocracy Blues.

Since plutocrats can also make kakistocrats, we know,
Is Donald Trump’s direction the best way for us to go?
Though billionaires have made a lot of money for themselves,
You shouldn’t think, for all the rest, they’ll serve as Santa’s elves.

When plutocrat kakistocrats decide how we should spend,
It should surprise no one that programs for the poor might end.
With tax evasion legalized so it is not a crime,
That ought to please the president; he does that all the time.

Kakistocratic plutocrats are sure not to propose
Collecting tax owed by the rich, like taxes Donald owes.
If they want to raise revenues, they’ll raise funds just for them.
And if Trump is dictator, they will give a slice to him.

Kakistocratic plutocrats may found kleptocracies,
(It happens in autocracies more than democracies,)
Trump’s plutocrat kakistocrats are storm clouds on the rise.
We voters made this possible, supporting Donald’s lies.

With Christian churches failing to teach love and brotherhood,
Which then distorts the nation’s feelings about what is good,
Kakistocratic plutocrats (recall: that means the worst,)
When they’re put into office, we will soon learn we’ve been cursed.
