Is Donald Trump patting himself on the back?
He’s put the whole world in a tizzy,
With markets reflecting Trump’s tariff attack,
Their rate of collapse makes us dizzy.

There isn’t a country that Donald has spared,
Except for the land of Rasputin. (1)
Which makes us all wonder if Donald is scared
Of kompromat held by Vlad Putin.

But, otherwise, Donald’s world map is complete
With tariffs that he is applyin’.
(The Heard Island penguins unfairly compete (2)
With goods they’re not sellin’ or buyin’.)

So, what do we now think that Donald will do
With markets around the world crashing?
He maintains that such retribution is due.
But, is this just grievance rehashing?

Do we think that Donald’s enjoying the mess?
Does Donald enjoy the chaotic?
His penchant for chaos makes some pundits guess
That chaos for Trump is erotic.

Is Trump unaware of historical facts?
Statistics he cites seem deluded. (3)
He can’t grasp that tariffs will be a big tax.
The emperor’s getting denuded.

The market crash has wiped out trillions of bucks.
Can’t Trump see this is bad politics?
For, everyone, everywhere’s saying this sucks.
Except Putin and his Bolsheviks.

(1) Cuba and North Korea are also not on Trump’s list.
(2) Heard Island is one of several islands around Antarctica, inhabited only by penguins. They all are listed as incurring 10% tariffs. On what?
(3) Economists are having a hard time figuring out where Trump is getting the numbers he has reported on tariffs that other nations are charging us.
