Is that what Donald Trump has learned from his life as a crook?
If Vladimir keeps what he stole in his aggressive war,
He’ll take a deep breath, then regroup, and re-invade for more.

Trump thinks his clever strategy is worth a Nobel Prize.
He’ll say he stopped the killing, cutting Ukraine down to size.
Zelensky wouldn’t help Trump smear Joe Biden in ‘16.
A Nobel Peace Prize and revenge might wipe the whole slate clean.

Zelensky has the nerve to say, “We want our country back.
“Should Putin be rewarded for his unprovoked attack?”
Zelensky has committed sins in Putin’s and Trump’s view.
First, just existence, second by the things he would not do.

And what are the concessions Trump has asked from Vladimir?
Well, nothing at first glance, though maybe he must wait a year.
Trump gets his Prize, Vlad can refit, then re-attack Ukraine,
And Volodymyr is punished for not aiding Donald’s reign.

There’s no way the Norwegians will give Donald the Peace Prize,
For Donald Trump’s a crooked schmuck in most Norwegians’ eyes.
And Donald is not acting to stop killing and bring peace,
Instead, backing armed robbery when he should call the police.

So, Donald Trump’s complicit, aiding Vladimir’s war crimes,
While autocrats and democrats clash in these troubled times.
Since Donald wants a Nobel Prize, he’s taken Putin’s side.
Is that what makes him comfortable with Putin’s homicide?

Both Vladimir’s and Donald’s motives, basically are greed,
Campaigning for both lands and honors that both do not need.
Unless, of course, they’re narcissists, always demanding more.
So, Donald wants the Prize and Vladimir keeps waging war.
