Sexual Misconduct

Some Congressmen, caught with their pants down, are forced to resign, (1)
As was a prince in England, who was stepping out of line. (2)
And lots of politicians overseas leave in disgrace
For sexual misconduct charges that they’re forced to face.

For such behavior, Trump has been convicted twice in court,
Both criminal and civil, sexual sleaze of every sort. (3)
Republicans rush to condemn sleaze by a Democrat.
But far worse sleaze by Donald Trump? Republicans stand pat.

With criminal convictions, Trump still lives in our White House.
With Trump’s ongoing record, why don’t we impeach this louse?
Though Trump’s the sole convicted felon to be president,
The MAGAtry may hold its nose but still gives its assent.

Now immorality is spreading from Trump’s guiding hand.
Just how does this all benefit the folks in MAGA land?
First, tariffs drove all prices up and now we’re in Trump’s war.
And MAGAts ask themselves, “Is this what we all voted for?”

Is there no line Trump hasn’t crossed or will not cross in time?
He’s now sunk down to blasphemy, a sin, religious crime. (4)
Trump warned the Pope, “Don’t criticize,” but Leo shows no fear.
JD, a brand new Catholic, takes Trump’s side; he’s made that clear. (5)

So, sexual sleaze, dishonesty, and bombing of Iran,
Incompetence, declining mind, all rolled up in one man.
The blithering and blathering: when will we cry, “Enough!?”
For, Donald Trump has shown the world he’s mostly grift and bluff.

The Congress and Trump’s Cabinet have tools that they can choose;
Impeachment, 25th Amendment: both are there to use.
Mike Johnson and John Thune won’t act, the Cabinet as well. (6)
Meanwhile, the whole world’s circling the drain that flows to Hell.
