Somebody should give Elon Musk some advice.
He gave Trump some big bucks, and Trump thinks that’s nice.
But if Elon’s starting to steal the spotlight,
Then Trump will get jealous and put Musk on ice.

Trump’s proven reluctant to share any light.
His vision of himself is he’s our white knight.
Those stealing Trump’s spotlight will be cast aside
And Musk’s not immune to such narcissist’s spite.

That Elon’s successful cannot be denied,
With Tesla and SpaceX, his fame justified.
In contrast, though Trump is a fraud, he just won.
So now there’s no need for Elon by his side.

Though Donald has thanked Musk, perhaps now he’s done.
He warned Musk should not steal his place in the sun.
Jews say fish and guests will smell after three days.
Too much camera time: Donald’s love comes undone.

Soon Donald will show us how Musk’s money plays.
Will government enter an oligarch phase?
Will our right-wing billionaires now buy control?
They know Donald loves money and, of course, praise.

For all of Musk’s money, what will be his role?
So far, it seems Elon is off on a roll.
But he must take care not to hog the spotlight,
For Trump, ego wounded, is a fumarole.

So, Elon, it’s time to withdraw from the light.
Another big tax cut is clearly in sight.
You’re free to use SpaceX to blast off for Mars.
And Trump will be happy that you’ve taken flight.
