March 31, Take from the Poor, Give to the Rich

We are getting a clear-cut impression
Indicating Trump’s major obsession
Is: take from the poor
To give the rich more.
And he does it with open aggression.

Then there’s Donald’s vituperation
At NATO’s and our cooperation:
He drives friends away,
More distance each day,
All to Putin’s and Xi’s jubilation.

All the tariffs Trump’s initiating,
Will make prices at home start inflating.
Trump says they’ll come down,
Economists frown.
But we know Trump’s beyond educating.

Elon Musk, who’s named Donald’s waste finder,
Puts all agencies through his meat grinder.
His findings of waste
Have been made in haste,
As our courts send a daily reminder.

All the statutes Trump cites that he’s using,
All our courts rule instead, he’s abusing.
Trump, well-known for fraud,
Crying “Fraud,” seems odd,
And no judges have found it amusing.

The folks in Trump’s Cabinet collection
Are revealing a common infection:
Gross incompetence,
Confirming they’re dense.
And Pete Hegseth deserves swift ejection.

And incompetence goes even higher.
Donald Trump, besides being a liar,
Confronted with facts,
Most often reacts
By assuming a stance as denier.

There’s no secret that Donald’s obsession
Could be viewed as a form of oppression.
To take from the poor,
To give the rich more,
Is quite clearly a moral transgression.
