First, Donald Trump sued Paramount for twenty billion bucks.
They want to merge with Skydance so, to Trump, they’re sitting ducks.
Trump sought a little payoff, so he wouldn’t interfere.
Such lawsuits are his tactics all throughout his long career.

Trump said he did not like the way a Harris interview
Was edited on CBS. His remedy: to sue. (1)
Since Donald got elected, he had not been hurt at all;
His suit was clearly frivolous but that’s how Trump plays ball.

So Paramount paid Donald off with sixteen million, cash.
Now, will the Skydance deal go through, escaping Donald’s lash?
The “settlement” is just a thousandth of what Donald asked.
Was this a bribe, asked for and paid? Has more sleaze been unmasked?

Did Paramount just pay a bribe straight to the president?
For all the rest of Donald’s term, is this a precedent?
Will sixteen million be enough for Trump to let them merge?
And in the next three years will more deals like this one emerge?

Will Paramount, who paid Trump’s bribe, have someone do hard time,
While Donald skates because the Roberts Court approved his slime?
If Teapot Dome is precedent, who will be Albert Fall?
One thing of which we can be sure—Trump will not take the fall.
