January 11, Doctor, Senator Rand Paul (parody to ‘My Old Kentucky Home)

January 11, Doctor, Senator Rand Paul (parody to ‘My Old Kentucky Home’)

Oh, the light shines dim in the air in Rand Paul’s head;

He can’t tell the night from the day.

Anti-government, anti-science Senator.

Why, oh why do his voters let him stay?

Why, oh why, Kentucky,

Did you send us Mitch and Rand?

An obstructionist and dumb libertarian,

They are more than our country can withstand.

Senator Rand Paul was an ophthalmologist.

But there’s too much science in that.

So he gave that up and went into politics,

Where it’s fine for his brain waves to be flat.

When Rand sees Dr. Fauci,

Rand always throws a fit.

As he rants and raves, we can see that Doctor Paul

Is an ophthalmologist who can’t see shit.

Why, oh why, Kentucky,

Do you think Rand is right?

Facts are just too much for the vacuum in his head;

Let us bid this poor, tortured soul, “Good Night.”
