Oligarchy, here we come, right back where we started from.
Do you think our Founding Fathers would like who we’ve become?

Some of our minds have grown since then; black folks and women vote.

Democracy is clearly ill, but should we let it die,
With Donald as dictator and the favors Musk can buy?
Will we bow to Elon’s money and to Donald’s craziness?
To Zuckerberg and Bezos and Trump’s mental haziness?

But we’ve made gods of power, money, clearly blasphemous.
And “You shall make no molten gods,” (as we’ve done with the gun.) (2)
