Now, Donald Trump’s turned eighty and he’s still alive.
We pray for understanding. Why does Trump still thrive?
We can’t celebrate our two hundred fifty years;
They’re stained by Trump’s existence, and rich buccaneers.

Donald Trump disgraces our nation every day.
Ask the Founding Fathers, what would they have to say?
Did anyone envision that our history
Would be desecrated by such trumpery?

We know that Donald’s partial to big spectacles,
Feats of strength that feature men’s toxic testicles.
He had birthday cage fights, his way to celebrate.
Two men punching, kicking, ‘til one’s decerebrate.

Lacking all refinement, offensive, racist, crude, (1)
Trump showed everybody his grossest crassitude.
Is this the kind of leader that we voted for?
Can we take such coarseness two and a half years more?

Trump napped in the program and post fight interviews,
Dreaming of new standards that he might abuse.
A cage fight for profit, unmatched vulgarity.
Nothing of the evening showed any dignity.

So, what about God’s judgment, with Trump still alive?
And let’s also ask, can democracy survive?
Voters can be hoodwinked; now, we must pay the price…
Democracy might make the supreme sacrifice.
