Trump in New York city: he was roundly booed,
Went to see a Knicks game: his reception…rude,
Booed obstructing traffic to the “Garden” court,
Booed during the Anthem, never done in sport.
And, to boost the boo birds, the Knicks lost the game.
Donald Trump napped through it, which earned him the blame.
Donald speaking later, said he heard the cheers,
Throughout the arena, music to his ears.
Donald Trump’s approval has gone straight downhill.
All of us now know him; most have had their fill.
All our prices higher, losing in Iran,
And war is immoral, says the Vatican.
Donald’s case is hopeless; and the fault is ours.
We elected Donald; now we all need showers.
The whole world is waiting to see what we do.
Will they ever trust us? Penitence is due.
Donald won’t get better; that’s a simple fact.
What about impeachment? Congress will not act.
We need a new Congress; there’s a chance this fall.
Voters are the umpires; we can make the call.
Then, on to impeachment and the Senate trial.
Senate jurors voting, (most think Trump is vile.)
Though they know Trump’s guilty, facts won’t rule the day.
What’s it take for Trumpists to flush him away?
Jeffrey Epstein’s victims: teenage girls abused,
Although, so far, Donald doesn’t stand accused.
If files show Trump diddled ladies underage,
Will the Trumpists let him simply turn the page?
Farmers going bankrupt; Trump destroyed free trade.
Ballrooms and big arches won’t come to their aid.
Prices ever higher: how high must they go,
‘Til the Trumpists get this: “you reap what you sow?”
