Not for daycare, Medicare, or Medicaid,
Trump needs all that money for war.
Right now he’s conducting a big bombing raid;
That’s what federal money is for. (1)

The states should be funding the Medicare “scam.” (2)
Trump needs all these funds for more arms.
If states don’t fund healthcare, Trump won’t give a damn.
That’s one of his character’s charms.

By bombing the Persians, Trump’s keeping us safe.
So what if we see prices rise?
It costs lots of money to drop bombs and strafe.
That’s true; it’s not one of Trump’s lies.

Are we watching a new dictatorship born:
Trump seizing armed forces control?
That path to autocracy is quite well-worn,
Unsurprising that is Trump’s goal.

Some ask if Adolf or if Donald’s more vile,
Comparing these two demagogues.
Adolf was a soldier and no pedophile
And we know he also liked dogs. (3)

Both men are warmongers, though Hitler’s death score
Was higher than Donald’s score now.
Trump’s lust is for money; it’s deep in his core,
So he keeps his eye on the Dow.

The average person must pick up the tab
For both men’s delusional lust.
While Trump goes for all of the cash he can grab,
Adolf turned his country to dust.

remarks.
(2) Trump, during these same remarks, briefly referred to daycare, Medicare,
and Medicaid as scams.
(3) For this observation, I am indebted to a fraternity brother of mine from
Stanford, 1966, John Dexter Marble, a history professor and lawyer. We
also know that Hitler actually wrote his book, Mein Kampf, while Trump’s
books are all ghost-written. This does not mean that either Dex or I think
Hitler was a better person than Trump.
