An ICE agent shot and killed someone today. (1)
Then we all heard what Kristi Noem had to say. (2)
Since everyone saw the whole thing on TV,
Her claims were belied by what we all could see.

Now, why did this happen? Can we break this down?
Why does Donald Trump send ICE agents to town?
And why did they kill a young mother of three?
(It’s so you’ll start thinking, Damn! Next could be me.)

Not just immigration but total control:
Control: Stephen Miller’s and Donald’s main goal.
Brown people, white people, both female and male,
Trump must be Lord of All; that’s his Holy Grail.

Now Trump and his Trumpists will misrepresent
What our eyes have all seen, instead they’ll present
Conclusions before evidence is all in.
Unbothered that lying’s a Biblical sin. (3)

Recruiting more ICE agents is in full swing.
They’ve lowered their standards in order to bring
New candidates who are not well-qualified,
Young men who think Donald should be deified.

And you can tell cruelty’s part of their deal.
They’re trying to frighten you and make you feel
That they can do anything to you they want,
Untethered by laws. That’s the power they flaunt.

They goaded a protester, got her to flee,
Shot her in the head, not just one time, but three.
The message delivered: we’re all Hitler’s Jews,
And next might be your blood that’s shed on the news.
