Is Russell Vought just using Donald Trump,
A narcissist whose ego he can pump,
To rid our country of democracy,
Installing in its stead—autocracy?

Was Donald Trump an easy choice to make,
To be assured the man Russ chose would take
The steps that Vought, for all his life had planned,
Which we were taught the Constitution banned?

An ego like Trump’s needs to be in charge:
The ego of this narcissist that large.
To be in charge for him means graft and grift,
Big profits Donald Trump takes as a gift.

Now Project 2025’s in force,
Which Vought is using Donald to enforce.
As long as Vought lets Donald take a cut,
Democracy gets punched right in the gut.

Does Donald Trump suspect he’s being used?
Does Donald care about laws he’s abused?
His family made billions just this year.
Do you think this makes Donald’s motives clear?

So Vought is pushing toward autocracy
And maybe Protestant theocracy.
As terror spreads from Stephen Miller’s ICE,
That’s all just fine if Donald gets his slice.

Once Trump is king, then what is next for Vought?
Will Russell next restrict the right to vote
And gerrymander so the GOP
Controls the throne in perpetuity?

Once Vought achieves the government desired,
Will he think things improve with Trump retired?
As Trump’s health fades, might Russ promote J.D.,
A 25th Amendment remedy?
