The Sons of Silas - Ballads of the Bairds

This album, while still squarely in the Scientific Gospel genre, is a bit different.  This compendium is a reflection of the recordings we made in April 2024 with our son, Daniel, and our grandson, Noah (3 generations of Bairds - a true family affair.)  We call them the Sons of Silas since the band title sounded good as an alliteration, even though Silas was Steve’s great grandfather, the father of Charles Baird who fathered Kenneth Knight Baird, Steve’s dad.

Ever the creative artist, Steve has, at age 80, undertaken another adventure in his life.

Who says 80 is too old?

The album was recorded at Spragueland Recording Studios and mastered by the incomparable Peter Sprague.  Also, a departure from past albums, this one is only available digitally.  You can find it on Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
