August 10, The Donald-Custer Blues

Donald Trump has got the blues: General Custer type.
Both thought they could beat the world; both believed their hype.
George ran into Crazy Horse; then he bit the dust.
Trump’s run into Kamala, and he can’t adjust.

Donald Trump is not dead yet, but he’s running scared.
Kamala draws bigger crowds, when they are compared.
Donald made his VP choice, picking J. D. Vance.
But when Harris picked Tim Walz, Donald soiled his pants.

Crazy Horse had Sitting Bull and Hunkpapa, Gall.
Kamala, along with Walz, drive Trump up a wall.
Donald’s V P, J D Vance, earns his team no cheers.
So far, J D’s mostly been sand in Donald’s gears.

George was egotistical; Donald Trump is too.
Crazy Horse inspired his braves, and their fierceness grew.
Kamala’s joyful warriors may clean Donald’s clock.
Then he’ll spend his days in court, standing in the dock.

Donald Trump calls people names: stupid, low I. Q.
Facts intrude and when they’re checked, Trump’s words don’t ring true.
Trump’s misjudged the battlefield and his enemy.
He can’t win by constantly saying, “Me, me, me.”

Nobody likes Donald Trump; that includes the rich.
Privately, they all call him, “That son of a bitch.”
Bigots just support him for sharing bigotry.
They don’t see the value in our variety.

Donald Trump has got the blues: and he’s got them bad.
Kamala gets bigger crowds; that drives Donald mad.
Donald Trump can’t improvise, only knows one chord.
Folks leaving rallies early, all admit they’re bored.
