The Ukraine is not just a real estate deal,
Although it looks like that is how Trump must feel,
Since Vladimir Putin’s acquiring new land
And Donald Trump’s trying to lend him a hand.

Steve Witkoff’s in real estate, so Trump sent him,
Along with his son-in-law, to help Vlad trim
Some land off of Ukraine, where rare earths are found,
And profits await all those mining that ground.

Vlad’s doing the tear down, like Donald’s East Wing
And Donald Trump’s hearing cash registers ring.
The problem: Ukrainians are standing fast,
With even Republicans standing aghast.

Zelenski’s caused problems for both Don and Vlad,
Resistant to both, he made both of them mad.
Though Putin’s a killer and Donald’s a fraud,
Zelenski has faced both and still stands unawed.

Putin’s armed robbery and Trump’s proposed deals,
Ensuring that Vladimir keeps what he steals,
Are showing the whole world how autocrats act.
Trump’s backing a killer, an obvious fact.

Does Donald think Putin appreciates him?
That’s more evidence that his mind’s growing dim.
Will Putin let Trump put his name on a mine?
Or, will he tell Donald, “Ukraine is all mine?”

A real estate mogul says he’s making peace,
Deluded that Putin will give him a piece
Of potential profits from land he just stole.
A “useful idiot;” that’s Donald Trump’s role. (1)

To stop Putin’s killing requires using force.
Trump’s goal is a land deal and profits, of course.
And nothing Trump’s doing will make Putin quit.
Is Trump a peacemaker? No, that’s all bullshit.
