We’re watching Donald fighting hard to keep SNAP from the poor,
While saving tax cuts for the rich, that goal is still secure.
Although the funds are there for SNAP, and Donald Trump could pay,
The courts have told him that he must, but he’s asked for a stay.

Yes, Trump has asked our highest court to help him hold funds back.
Mike Johnson in the House holds firm. Who knows if he will crack?
He’s also letting premiums for ACA increase,
While helping to assure that costs for weight loss drugs decrease.

So, starve the poor while helping Trump erase Obamacare.
The GOP agenda horrifies when it’s stripped bare.
Be cruel to our dark-skinned folks by letting ICE run wild.
(Their thugs were getting paid while Donald’s SNAP appeals were filed.)

When Trump thinks of Obamacare, he cringes at the name.
Providing healthcare for the poor is not in MAGA’s game.
Now Trump’s exposed his character, where sin and greed collude.
So, neither SNAP nor healthcare for the poor will be renewed.

The voters pretty much told Trump they do not buy his act;
Just read of all the Democrats and ballot measures backed.
The turnout was substantial in all states throughout the land.
Results suggest perhaps democracy will make a stand.

We may conclude Trump doesn’t care how lives of poor folks go.
For, sick and hungry poor folks don’t affect his own cash flow.
He’s picking on the needy because that’s what bullies do.
It is the weakest in the herd that predators pursue.
