While Trump and Zelensky hold talks on Ukraine,
And Putin’s inflicting near maximal pain,
Does Trump seek the Peace Prize and new real estate
While Zelensky just wants storm clouds to abate?
The beach front of Gaza’s enticing to Trump.
The “demo” is finished, now a rubble dump.
He’d build a resort but combatants won’t quit,
They violate cease fires; was that all bullshit?
Off of Venezuela, Trump is bombing boats,
And pirating tankers; he’s feeling his oats.
Is Trump a peacemaker? Norway has grave doubts,
From his war on immigrants to laws he flouts.
Trump’s most recent talks with Zelensky are through.
Agreements are “close,” but there’s lots more to do.
And so far, Tsar Vladimir will not agree,
He just keeps demanding, “Give Ukraine to me.”
Tsar Putin is stubborn, lips dripping with greed,
So, Trump asks Zelensky, “Why won’t you concede?”
So far, peace discussions have all been in vain.
The Tsar doesn’t want peace; he just wants Ukraine.
When Donald and Bibi had their conference,
Though Trump took the credit for paused violence,
Without evidence that peace had yet evolved,
The conflict remains that Trump told us he solved.
Can Hamas and Israel live side by side?
That’s a thought that neither of them can abide.
But Yahweh gave “their land” to Abraham’s sons,
Share and share alike, not to govern with guns.
The world is in conflict as it’s always been,
With murder still common, the most grievous sin.
So, no peace on Earth and no goodwill toward men.
When our leaders die, let our kids try again.
