We know that Trump loves money and he wants a Nobel Prize. (1)
His self-aggrandizement campaign is mostly based on lies.
And Vladimir loves power and he wants all of Ukraine.
Trump’s sanctions have not hurt him, none have caused him too much pain.
As they meet in Alaska, peace is just a minor goal.
For Trump: the Nobel Prize, for Putin: keeping land he stole.
So, they’ll lie to each other and for each of them, that’s fine.
The purpose of their meeting is to grab a huge headline.

War criminal, bullshitter, narcissists with different ends.

And next will come the meeting. Some progress? Or total flop?
They met about two hours and they did not reach a deal.
No temporary cease fire, did not even share a meal.
Their speeches were perfunctory, no questions from the press.
There wasn’t anything that could be labeled a success.
No tariffs, no new sanctions, Trump’s bravado only that.
Trump was El Taco Grande, Putin was the Cheshire Cat.
The great deal maker made no deal, so Putin wears a grin
And Donald’s braggadocio was nothing more than spin.
(1)Both Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Trump is jealous.
(2)TACO, the press’s appellation for Trump: Trump Always Chickens Out, earned from continuously making, then withdrawing threats of punishing tariffs on damn near everyone.
