Donald’s narcissism masks low self-esteem.
Expertise offends him, as from academe.
Sycophants appointed, who must bow and scrape.
When committing crimes, they’ll all help him escape.
We’ve all seen how often Trump self-glorifies.
And, in doing so, he often tells us lies.
Those whom Trump appoints must all sing Donald’s song,
Singing from his hymnal, words they know are wrong.
Trump condemns our free speech when it disagrees
With what he’s been saying, pointing out his sleaze.
The would-be dictator whom we all must praise,
Shows we fear the hellfire Donald Trump may raise.
Donald’s epidermis is known to be thin,
By laymen and doctors studying his skin.
UV ray exposure caused his skin to age
And may cause skin cancer, spreading to high stage.
Is it melanoma or a basal cell? (1)
Both require resection; one portends death knell,
One metastasizes; one’s cured by the knife.
One’s a greater threat to a long, healthy life.
Is Trump’s threat malignant or mental disease?
Neither one is certain to be cured with ease.
Both must be excised but then we need more tests,
To find all the organs Trumpism infests.
Our nation’s been sickened by Trump’s self-esteem.
He has made us suffer; it’s not a bad dream.
Will Trumpism spread out, ‘til we are destroyed?
Do we need a surgeon or need Sigmund Freud?
(1)The three skin cancers most commonly attributed to excessive
exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun are, in order of
seriousness, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and
malignant melanoma. Trump’s orange hue may be from an artificial
tanning agent or just makeup.
