(2)There is a gene mutation in 1 in 80 Ashkenazi Jews, the TBCB gene,
that is related to autism and movement disorders. The currently
reported rate of Autism Spectrum Disorders in the USA is about 1 in 31
births. Asian/Pacific Islanders have the highest reported rates. Look it
up.
(3)A mohel is the person who performs ritual circumcisions. The female
title is mohelet. Anesthesia is not always used. Sometimes an
external, anesthetic cream is applied.
