Bomb Iran?

We have to re-obliterate the program in Iran
To make bomb grade uranium; we need a mulligan.
We bombed Iran six months ago; Trump said, “Complete success.”
So, why we need to bomb again is anybody’s guess.

Trump used the word, “obliterated.” So, what has survived?
If we must re-obliterate, their program has revived.
Historically, Trump’s use of language leaves some room for doubt
About the truth of what he says, as we, again, found out.

Steve Witkoff said Iran is now about a week away (1)
From some bomb grade uranium; (“a week” means any day.)
“Obliterated,” “days away,” who’s giving us the facts?
Trump’s history suggests no one. With facts, he’s often lax.

Does Donald have dementia? Is it just dishonesty
That makes what Donald Trump says stray from factuality?
His thoughts and speech are muddled and they worsen every day.
So, it seems fair to speculate why Trump holds facts at bay.

Trump doesn’t need the Congress and he doesn’t need the courts.
When he’s restrained in any way, then he gets out of sorts.
His message, simple and direct: no one may disagree,
Brown folks, Iran, and Democrats committing treachery.

Besides Iran, now Donald has announced a war on fraud,
He has great expertise, a trail that Trump has often trod. (2)
He’s pardoned lots of fraudsters, no surprise, they all were white.(3)
When immigrants and brown folks do it, then it’s not alright.

So, tariffs, fraud, and “bomb Iran” are Trump’s priorities.
What he proposes is a full plate of activities.
And then, of course, suppressing votes: he needs to do that too.
If not, the Democrats will win and Trump will get his due.
