Donald Trump put himself on the ballot
And the voters have painted him blue.
Deep blue was the main hue on their palette; (1)
So, the whole GOP’s feeling blue.

Donald Trump had his big referendum,
The results of which were pretty grim.
Colloquially, here’s an addendum….
Donald got his ass handed to him.

The Republican’s total ass-whipping,
Left Trump’s presidency smelling dead.
Trump’s tail feathers got more than a clipping.
For his ass turned a bright pinkish-red.

Donald Trump’s ideal ass just got paddled,
Even though Donald said it was great.
But we know Donald’s judgment is addled;
Husted wasn’t a great candidate. (2)

Right-wing billionaires spent tons of money; (3)
Then the voters flushed it down the drain.
Did rich GI tracts start getting runny,
When investments took on a brown stain?

What explains such a repudiation?
Our frustration built up to a roar.
No mysterious elucidation:
Trump’s high prices, corruption, and war.

After Donald Trump’s painful ass-whupping,

Let him do his adulterous schtupping, (4)
And let Democrats run government.
