As soon as Trump had been sworn in, he started his attack,
Assaulting institutions to see who’d be first to crack.

We also have germ warfare unopposed by RFK.
New measles cases breaking out, infecting more each day.
But RFK’s protecting us from M&M’s red dye.
At least our candy’s safe while measles makes our children die.

The children getting measles have not taken their vaccines.
For RFK would keep us healthy by some other means.
He wants to save our kids from vaccination’s side effects,
Ignoring all the kids the MMR vaccine protects. (1)

Appointing RFK, Trump told our scientists, “F…you.”
Ignoring expertise is something Trump is prone to do.
He made that clear with Covid, showing Fauci who’s in charge.
So Ivermectin and Clorox let Covid roam at large.

There is a war on expertise by Trump and RFK,
Two men with the authority to hold the truth at bay.
The facts of economics and the facts of public health
May wither from combined assault, now frontal, not by stealth.

Trump’s tariffs will raise prices for all goods, the world around.
And, as our vaccinations wane, infections will rebound.
Both Trump and RFK will say what we see isn’t true.
But, with these two in office, that’s what we’ll have to go through.

Both RFK and Donald should be viewed as threats, worldwide,
From market crises and environmental suicide,
And new pandemics: H5N1, Covid wait to spread.
What will it take to wake us up, how many million dead?
